The Guidance Center is seeking a skilled Psychologist to join our team.
Job Summary
This role conducts psychological evaluations, provides direct services, and develops treatment goals for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The successful candidate will possess strong assessment and intervention skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Administer and interpret psychometric instruments, such as WAIS, WISC, and Vineland
- Provide direct services, including individual counseling, parent training, and crisis intervention
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support
Requirements
- Masters degree in Psychology from an accredited college or university
- Valid TLLP, LLP, or LP licensure in the State of Michigan
- At least 8 months experience in intellectual and/or developmental disabilities
- Ability to obtain QIDP and CMHP credentials within 120 days of hire
