What are the responsibilities and job description for the MCR Team Supervisor position at The Guidance Center?
The Mobile Crisis Response Supervisor oversees the operations of the MCR team that provides immediate support to individuals experiencing mental health crises. They ensure the team is well-trained and equipped to de-escalate situations and connect individuals with appropriate services. The supervisor coordinates with other agencies and community resources to provide comprehensive care. They also handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, reporting, and compliance with regulations. Additionally, the supervisor provides ongoing support and guidance to team members to maintain high standards of care. The primary hours for this position are Monday - Friday 8 am to 5 pm with some evening hours required.
Minimum Qualifications
EDUCATION AND LICENSURE :
Master's degree in Social Work, Clinical Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy or Professional Counseling, and Licensure by the Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board as a LMSW, LMLP, LMFT, LPC, LSCSW, LCP, LCPC OR LCMFT by the first day of employment
EXPERIENCE :
- Equivalent work experience in the human services field, or a combination of work experience in the human services field and education, with one year of experience substituting for one year of education, may be considered.
- Two years volunteer or paid experience working with individuals in the community.
- Valid Driver's License and proof of auto insurance.
- Minimum of one year experience in program management or supervision of staff.
