About the Role : The Guitar Center is looking for a Senior Retail Applications Engineer with expertise in Multivalue and Pick Basic software engineering and deep experience of retail, omnichannel POS, microservices, APIs, cloud technologies.
Responsibilities :
- Provide systems development lifecycle functions – analysis, architecture, design, software development (including coding, testing, documentation, and implementation), and maintenance of both new and existing software applications.
- Provide database management functions, and responsible for data integrity of all the relevant databases.
- Responsible for tracking / reporting of time spent on projects or tasks and communicating this information to supervisor.
- Support application interfaces to / from AIX servers.
- Provide mentoring, leadership to other developers and support staff in project execution.
- Provide on-call support functions as needed.
- Provide additional support functions in terms of monitoring critical application processes, schedule processes, and user processes.
- Responsible for self-managing delivery of assigned tasks.
