What are the responsibilities and job description for the Contract Payroll Analyst position at The GW Medical Faculty Associates?
Position Summary
The role has responsibility for all payroll reporting functions and providing backup to the payroll processing team, as needed.
- This role is contract, and it is anticipated to extend for up to six months

Minimum Qualifications

Education
Associates degree or comparable work experience. Certification as payroll professional (CPP) preferred.
Experience
Minimum 4 years of experience in the field or a similar combination of education and experience in a related area. Experience with UltiPro / UKG and functionality with web-based applications.
Competencies
Must have solid communication skills and be able to communicate and collaborate across the organization, at all levels. Must be able to follow and understand instructions and react favorably in all work situations. Must be able to do math calculations and input data into the computer.
Physical Requirements
Walk, stand, and reach outward on a constant basis in an office setting.
Must be able to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull over 100 lbs. as part of the role.
Regularly exposed to healthcare settings that may require personal protective equipment.
Requires manual dexterity to operate a computer keyboard, calculator, copier machine, and other equipment.
Supervision Received
Works under minimal supervision of the Compensation Manager. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Relies on judgement and experience to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks.
