- Perform technical accounting duties such as recording, processing, and reporting of transactions, inventory, revenue, and other functions.
- Review, research, reconcile, and assure the accuracy of schedules, ledgers, and accounts.
- Demonstrate critical thinking skills and collaborate with team members.
- Ensure the timely processing of all payments due by the organization to vendors, individuals, and manufacturers.
- Collaborate with managers throughout the organization to obtain invoice approvals in a timely manner.
- Reconcile monthly vendor statements.
- Research discrepancies between vendor statements and internal schedules.
- Contact vendors for missing invoices.
- Associates Degree or higher in Accounting or Business with an emphasis in Accounting.
- Strong work ethic with an emphasis on integrity, time management, accountability, efficiency, teamwork, and thoroughness.
- The ability to analyze and perform complex calculations.
- Strong Customer Experience and people skills.
- Be knowledgeable of basic accounting and reconciling processes.
- Be detailed oriented, organized, and self-motivated.
- The ability to effectively communicate with internal and external Customers, in person, over the phone, and via fax or email.
- The ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
- The ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
