Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Public Area Attendant to join our team. As a Public Area Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of public areas within our facility. This is a vital role in ensuring a positive experience for our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine cleaning tasks in public areas, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and other designated spaces
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to maintain cleanliness
- Dust and wipe down surfaces, including furniture, fixtures, and windows
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
- Restock supplies such as hand soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
- Clean and sanitize restrooms to ensure a hygienic environment
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel
- Follow established cleaning procedures and protocols to maintain high standards of cleanliness
- Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing duties
Requirements:
- Previous experience in floor care or commercial cleaning is preferred
- Knowledge of custodial practices and industrial cleaning techniques is a plus
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as buffers and carpet cleaners is desirable
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently
- Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects if required
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
