Job Description:
This position requires the ability to perform pre and post-trip inspections, operate the rock truck safely and efficiently, and raise and tilt the truck bed to dump material. Essential duties include performing all work according to MSHA and H&K Safety policies, starting the engine, shifting gears, and pressing pedals to operate the truck.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent, or one month of related experience and/or training
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Problem-solving abilities
- Ability to fit test and utilize appropriate PPE as needed
A valid CDL license is not required for this position. Preference may be given to candidates with experience operating heavy equipment and working in a quarry or heavy civil construction setting.
