Job Description:
The H&K Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Clean and maintain equipment daily
- Ensure proper operating condition through regular checks
- Notify shop foreman of maintenance or repair needs
Qualifications:
- One-year certificate from an accredited college or technical school OR six months of related experience and/or training
- Able to pass practical skills test for heavy equipment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Physical Demands:
- Frequently required to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Occasionally required to stand, walk, climb, and balance
Work Environment:
- Regularly exposed to outside weather conditions and vibration
- Frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles
