About the Role
The H&K Group is seeking a skilled Excavator Operator to join our team. As an experienced heavy equipment operator, you will be responsible for safely operating and maintaining heavy machinery, including excavators with hammers.
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, and haul trucks in a safe and efficient manner.
- Maintain equipment and perform routine maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate with other site teams to ensure smooth operations and meet project deadlines.
- Adhere to MSHA and H&K Safety policies at all times.
Requirements
- 1-year certificate from an accredited college or technical school OR 6 months of related experience and/or training.
- Able to pass practical skills test for excavators and loaders.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem-solving ability.
- Ability to understand and carry out detailed instructions.
