Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are accurately picked, packed, and prepared for shipment. This position requires a strong focus on efficiency and accuracy in a warehouse environment, particularly in grocery store settings. Duties
- Accurately pick orders based on customer requests and inventory lists.
- Utilize RF scanners to track inventory and ensure accurate order fulfillment.
- Load and unload products from delivery trucks and storage areas.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse.
- Assist in managing inventory levels, ensuring stock is rotated and maintained properly.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals.
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently when required (certification preferred).
- Provide support at the cash register as needed during busy periods.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a warehouse or grocery store environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely (certification may be required).
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy under pressure.
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply for effective communication with diverse teams.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift, and move products throughout the shift.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
