Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Program Director to lead and oversee all aspects of programming at The Hangar Pickleball Club. This role is pivotal in driving customer engagement, maximizing court utilization, and ensuring the long-term sustainability of our business. The ideal candidate will have a passion for pickleball, strong leadership skills, and experience in program development, event coordination, or recreational management.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage all pickleball programming, including leagues, lessons, tournaments, round robins, and specialty events such as Money Ball and Kids Camps.
- Utilize Court Reserve to optimize court scheduling and maximize participation, ensuring profitability and high customer satisfaction.
- Create and implement innovative coaching programs tailored to all skill levels, from beginners to advanced players.
- Introduce fitness, yoga, and stretching programs that enhance player wellness and prevent injuries.
- Continuously evolve and refresh programming to keep members engaged and attract new players.
- Lead a team of instructors, coaches, and trainers, ensuring high-quality offerings and a strong community experience.
- Develop and execute promotional strategies in collaboration with marketing teams to drive participation and engagement.
- Establish partnerships with local businesses, sponsors, and organizations to enhance programming and event offerings.
- Monitor program performance and gather member feedback, using insights to refine and improve club offerings.
Qualifications
- Passion for pickleball and experience in event planning, sports programming, or recreational management.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and project management skills.
- Experience with Court Reserve or similar scheduling/event registration platforms is a significant plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a startup environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in coaching, fitness instruction, or sports program development is a bonus.

Pay: $69,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Choose your own hours
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
