We live our values every day, demonstrating CARE through ESG initiatives and our IDE journey. Our Middle Market department is seeking a Commercial Lines Middle Market Underwriting Leader to drive production and profitability in our North Pacific Region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies for commercial lines based on current trends, underwriting results, opportunities, and directives.
- Establish and implement sound underwriting guidelines and pricing programs consistent with company policy and goals.
- Monitor performance of Commercial Lines staff in achieving established goals.
A Bachelor's degree is preferred. The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years' experience in Commercial Lines Underwriting and prior supervisory/management experience commensurate with premium volume and size of staff. Sound technical knowledge of Commercial Lines coverages, risk selection methods, and pricing is essential.
