What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mail & Print Operations - IDM Operator position at The Hanover Insurance Group?
Our Mail & Print Operations team is currently seeking an IDM Operator in our Worcester, MA location. This is a full time, non-exempt role.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Responsible for the overall daily production of printing or mailing output that is generated from the organizations source systems. Monitoring of jobs and output to ensure the highest levels of quality and integrity are met.
IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:
Operation and understanding of high speed production equipment.
Identification of issues with systems, output, or processes.
Documentation of varying daily production.
Support other business functions and business partners.
Ensuring SLA’s are consistently met.
Understanding and following of both departmental and organizational policies.
Basic setup/maintenance of production equipment.
Maintaining proper supply levels of consumables.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Analyze job processes and recommend improvements.
WHAT YOU NEED TO APPLY:
High school diploma/GED /equivalent work experience.
Ability to use personal computer and other standard office equipment.
Apply basic machinery skills in handling of various kinds of equipment.
Recognize and refer more complex issues to management.
Perform tasks that may be routine and repetitive with accuracy.
Ability to read, write, and perform basic math skills.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Ability to stand for extended periods of time
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to perform work tasks in a loud/noisy work environment.
Ability to work productively and accurately in a stressful, fast paced production environment
Ability to work on site, including during adverse weather conditions.
