The Hatcher Group is seeking an innovative and mission-driven Senior Visual Storyteller to lead video production across our multimedia, digital, and creative teams. In this role, you’ll support the execution of strategic communications and marketing initiatives, focusing on video asset production and visual storytelling. What You’ll Do

In this role, you’ll contribute to meaningful, results-driven work for Hatcher’s clients. Key responsibilities include:

  • Executing Hatcher’s visual storytelling strategy for clients and their target audiences
  • Driving the creative ideation and direction of video-led marketing campaigns
  • Producing high-quality, visually sophisticated content for digital channels from concept development to execution and delivery
  • Leading the professional growth and technical development of our multimedia team, maintaining a well-functioning department with a positive culture of collaboration and innovation
  • Partnering with our digital marketing team to hone amplification strategies that yield high-performing results
  • Collaborating with project teams, including producers, editors, art directors, copywriters, project managers, and digital marketers
  • Using data-driven insights to propose, create, and optimize content for better audience engagement
  • Staying engaged with capability trends that inform our strategy and ability to execute the work
  • Learning and leveraging creative platforms that support visual storytelling and training other team members along the way
  • Supporting business development efforts related to video production, including but not limited to thought leadership, networking, and proposal development

What You’ll Bring

We’re seeking a passionate and collaborative production professional with a strong track record of making products that make a difference. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A bachelor’s degree in video production, cinematography, broadcast journalism, or a related field
  • 6 years of experience in digital content strategy and storytelling
  • 8 years of experience in marketing, with a focus on video-led campaigns
  • Exceptional storytelling skills, including copywriting/editing and video production
  • Technical expertise in camera operation, audio recording, and post-production (including editing, color correction, sound mixing, and graphics)
  • Strong leadership and project management skills
  • Resilience and the ability to receive and offer feedback constructively
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances during the production process
  • Strong narrative skills to craft compelling and emotionally engaging stories
  • The ability to balance multiple priorities with confidence and ease
  • Strong communication, presentation, and pitching skills
