Clinical Director
Job Summary:
We are looking for a qualified Clinical Director to oversee and provide signatures for treatment plans, assessments, and other clinical documentation, ensuring they meet the required standards of care and compliance. The Clinical Director will also be responsible for providing clinical supervision to our team of mental health professionals, guiding their practice, and supporting their professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Documentation Review and Approval:
- Review and sign off on treatment plans, assessments, and other clinical documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Ensure that all documentation meets ethical guidelines and best practices in clinical care.
- Clinical Supervision:
- Provide individual and group supervision to licensed and unlicensed clinicians, including therapists, counselors, and BHTs.
- Offer guidance on complex cases, therapeutic interventions, and ethical dilemmas.
- Crisis Support:
- Provide immediate supervision and decision-making support during clinical emergencies or crises.
- Assist clinicians in debriefing and processing after critical incidents.
- Collaboration:
- Collaborate with other supervisors and staff to ensure consistent care and communication across the clinic.
- Client Advocacy:
- Ensure that treatment plans are client-centered and reflect the unique needs and goals of each individual.
- Advocate for clients' needs within the clinic and with external providers as necessary.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain records of supervision sessions and documentation reviews, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to HIPAA regulations.
- Prepare reports on clinical supervision activities and documentation compliance.
Qualifications:
- Education: Master’s degree or higher in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field.
- Licensure: Active, unrestricted clinical license in the state of Arizona (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPC).
- Knowledge: Thorough understanding of clinical documentation requirements, treatment planning, and assessment processes.
