What are the responsibilities and job description for the Building Services Coordinator - Part Time position at The Health Plan of West Virginia Inc?
Responsible for routine maintenance duties and/or cleaning functions related to equipment and facilities. The building services coordinator is responsible for routine maintenance of the building. The building services coordinator will control efforts of the building facilities function to accomplish objectives within limits and policies of The Health Plan. The building services coordinator will be required to perform other duties and activities within the realm of the position as identified by the department manager.
Required:
- High school graduate or equivalent with at least one year experience in an office setting preferred.
- Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
- Knowledge of common maintenance/custodial tools and utilization of power/mechanical equipment used in maintenance work.
- Must be computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, Outlook), and Building Operating System Software.
- Ability to perform physical labor and follow oral and written instructions.
- Self starter, detail oriented, ability to work independently.
- Good organizational skills, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Must have active driver's license and good driving skills.
- Must be able to lift and carry approximately 50 lbs.
- Must be able to climb ladder and access roof.
- Must maintain confidentiality.
- Good communications skills.
- Knowledge of postal regulations (when needed).
- Ability to work a flexible schedule.
Desired:
- HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry experience.
- General maintenance experience preferred.
- Mail and postage machine experience (when needed).
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all facility maintenance.
- Maintain outside building to include: sidewalks, landscaping, snow removal, furniture.
- Maintain inside building documenting all work orders in the Jira system.
- Responsible for all maintenance/custodial repairs in the building.
- Order and stock all custodial products, paper, office supplies.
- Maintain all areas in a professional and orderly fashion.
- Responsible for all moves within the facility.
- Prepare work and meeting areas for occupancy, including conference rooms and auditorium.
- Escort and assist all contractors in the building.
- In cooperation with the Facilities Manager, performs all other tasks as assigned.
BACK-UP DUTIES WHEN NEEDED:
- Assists with maintaining all service requests for all copiers.
- Assists with opening all incoming mail and distributing to the appropriate personnel/departments.
- Assists with documenting all incoming shipping packages, documents, etc via UPS, FedEx or Express Mail systems.
