RESPONSIBILITIES: * Execute on company priorities and departmental strategy as determined in conjunction with the CEO and COO determine the proper course of action and interact with the appropriate individuals to manage, complete analysis, measure KPI’s and make recommendations. * Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment for all employees and driving a zero accident / safety first culture. * Report out to CEO for Weekly and Monthly Summary meetings and others as determined. * Create and maintain an Operations Database to support the function for all KPI’s. * Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and meet company objectives. * Oversee the manufacturing process, including scheduling, production planning, and inventory management, to ensure timely delivery of products and high order fill rates. * Establish and maintain quality standards to ensure products meet all regulatory and customer expectations. * Develop and manage budgets for manufacturing operations, monitoring expenses, and implementing cost-saving measures as applicable. * Knowledge and understanding in the creation of bill of materials and production scheduling/labor analysis. * Lead and motivate a team of managers, supervisors, and production staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement. Coach and develop plant manager direct reports. * Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors, working with supply chain to negotiate contracts and ensuring timely delivery of materials.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS: * Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, another similar-related field preferred. Experience may be substituted in lieu of degree. * 10 years’ experience working in manufacturing operations leadership. Manufacturing experience in a multi-unit environment is strongly preferred. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization. * Entrepreneurial mind-set, with a high tolerance for ambiguity and complexity. Ability to be efficient with limited resources. * Strong overall business acumen and critical thinking along with problem-solving and analytical skills
