Overview
The Footwear Sales associate will be responsible for setting the energy level on the sales floor by actively seeking out customers in our store, greeting them in an upbeat and professional manner and delivering our mission statement. This position reports directly to the Management Team, including the President/Owner.
The Essentials:
- Grow personal sales by striving to meet sales metrics and following The Heel Shoe Fitters training guide standards to deliver a customer experience that is above and beyond expectations
- Engage in conversations with customers and assist them in making buying decisions
- Ability to overcome customer objections and suggest solutions
- Demonstrate a passion for the products in our store - work with top brands such as Birkenstock, UGG, On and many more!
- Maintain a professional appearance on the sales floor
- Ability to multitask as well as work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
- Demonstrates strong communication, organization, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to receive and understand coaching, showing improvement when necessary
- Assist in all other assigned duties
- Must be willing to help with freight/stocking when needed
- Ability to locate product within the warehouse and retrieve products from heights of greater than 6ft
- Ability to lift and carry 25-50 pounds

Shift Availability-Full Time Position
- Available to work 35-41 hours per week
- Monday-Wednesday between 8am-5:30pm
- Thursday-Friday between 8am-7:30pm
- Saturday between 8am-5pm
- Expectation of working 3 Saturdays per month
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 41 per week
