Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Activity Assistant to join our team. As an Activity Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by planning and implementing engaging activities and programs. If you have a passion for working with seniors and creating meaningful experiences, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and facilitate a variety of activities and events for residents
- Assist in create and maintaining a monthly activity calendar
- Coordinate outings and trips for residents
- Assist residents with activities as needed
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a positive and engaging environment
- Maintain accurate records of resident participation in activities
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Experience with Seniors
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Creativity and ability to plan engaging events and activities
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
