Social Media Intern (CPG Brand, Sustainability-Focused) – Paid Semester Stipend
Hours: 10-15 hours per week
Timing: Willing to work with the right candidate, but currently envisioning April 2025-August 2025 [Will potentially be on pause for 7 weeks in June/July]
Location: Remote/Flexible (Hybrid option in NYC)
Compensation: $15-$25/hr (flexible DOE)

This role will report to the Head of Marketing (based in NYC) and can be structured as hybrid if desired, with access to a coworking space and coworking days.

As a small but mighty 2-person startup, we're building something fresh and exciting—and we are looking for someone to be part of it.
- Assist with TikTok and Instagram strategy, including ideation, filming, editing, and posting content.
- Work on creator marketing, identifying and engaging with influencers who align with our brand.
- Help shape and refine our brand voice and tone across social platforms.
- Edit and create engaging video and static content that reflects brand values and sustainability goals.
- Help with email marketing, including light copy editing and content suggestions.
- Collaborate with the team to brainstorm new content ideas and strategies, including adapting a lot of long-form blog posts about science, sustainability, and nutrition.
- Have the opportunity to sit in on strategy calls (as aligned upon with the Head of Marketing) and gain real-world experience in brand-building.
- Explore small opportunities to play around with and learn analytics—while this role is mainly creative, there’s room to dabble in performance insights.
- Passion for social media, storytelling, and sustainability.
- Ability to stay on top of trends and adapt them to a brand’s voice.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- A self-starter who’s excited about shaping a brand from the ground up.
- Someone who thrives on creativity and can take initiative.
- Have experience with food content creation.
- Have an eye for brand voice and tone.
- Love exploring the outdoors.
- Have interests in tarot, the occult, niche internet trends—any and all activities that make you unique.
- Are eager to wander, explore, and bring weird, wonderful ideas to life.
