Employee Shuttle Driver
About Us: The Hermitage Club, a premier private ski resort, is seeking dependable and courteous Employee Shuttle Drivers to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring our staff members have a smooth and safe commute between the resort and employee housing, contributing to their overall work experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Staff Transportation: Safely operate and maintain company vehicles while transporting employees between the resort and designated housing locations.
- Customer Interaction: Greet staff members with a friendly demeanor and provide exceptional service during their commute.
- Safety First: Prioritize the safety of all passengers, ensuring that transportation is conducted efficiently and securely.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the HR and management teams to ensure timely and reliable shuttle service.
- Assistance with Boarding: Help employees with boarding and exiting the vehicle, especially in challenging weather conditions.
- Other Duties: Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors to support the smooth operation of the shuttle service.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 25 years of age.
- Maintain a clean driving record (no moving violations in the last 3 years; no DUIs, suspended licenses, etc., in the last 5 years).
- Professional appearance is required (no body piercings or visible tattoos on forearms or legs).
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
Skills and Qualities:
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate professionally and effectively with employees.
- Ability to speak, read, and comprehend English.
- Openness to feedback and collaboration with team members.
- A sense of urgency and timeliness in performing duties.
- A positive, can-do attitude and a commitment to supporting the staff.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to work in various weather conditions (heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.).
- Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 25 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, and run for extended periods.
- Ability to bend, stoop, squat, and lift frequently throughout a shift.
