FOH Manager

Job Overview
Experienced FOH manager, must be engaging with people, know open table, easy to get along with, know how to manage employees, can take direction, understand service and what is expected, scheduling, some admin work, hands on style.

Duties

• Oversee daily front-of-house operations to ensure efficiency and high standards of service.
• Manage and train staff, including interviewing, onboarding, and ongoing development.
• Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration among staff.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and a focus on resolution.
• Develop training programs to enhance team performance in customer service and food handling.
• Assist in budgeting processes to maintain cost-effective operations while ensuring quality service.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless communication between front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
• Implement health and safety protocols to maintain compliance with food handling regulations.

Experience

• Proven experience in a management role within the hospitality industry, preferably in both quick service fast food restaurants and fine dining establishments.
• Strong background in customer service with a track record of enhancing guest satisfaction.
• Demonstrated ability in team management, including training development and performance evaluation.
• Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial management within a restaurant setting.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team.
