Maintenance Technician (Marana AZ)
Position Summary:
As a Facilities Maintenance Technician at The Highlands at Dove Mountain, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operation of our property. Reporting directly to the Facilities Director, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs, as well as utilizing your basic mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues effectively. Your role is vital in ensuring the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs across various systems and equipment.
- Utilize preventative mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve facility issues.
- Ensure the facility is maintained in a safe, clean, and operational condition.
- Provide excellent customer service by effectively communicating with staff and residents .
- Maintain compliance with safety and health regulations, ensuring that all work is done to the highest standards.
- Collaborate with team members to support operational goals and ensure continuous property functionality.
- Responsible for pool maintenance - a Pima County Pool Certification preferred or must be willing to obtain it.)
- Assist with any additional tasks as needed to ensure facility operations remain smooth and effective.
Key Qualifications:
- Strong problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Basic mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience with maintenance and repairs.
- Strong communication and customer service skills to interact with team members, residents, and external contractors.
- Knowledge of safety and health compliance standards.
- Pima County Pool Certification preferred, or willingness to obtain it.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
