Responsibilities:
The following statements are intended as general illustrations of the work in this classification and are not all-inclusive of the specific position:
- Maintain, repair, and insure safe operation of all The Highlands chairlifts, carpets, and other cable rope transportation systems.
- Able to stand and sit for long periods, use ladders, and work at variable heights up to 50 feet.
- Prepare and safety check lifts for daily operation before Lift Operations arrives.
- Be able to complete lift start-up procedures independently.
- Perform scheduled routine maintenance as well as diagnostic maintenance.
- Maximize safety within all aspects of the department.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Maintain certifications, licenses, and training as necessary.
- Assist with documentation using Manager Plus Application
- Be able to understand and follow all ANSI, State, and Federal Guidelines.
- Willing and able to participate in all maintenance needs.
- Maintain a positive attitude consistently, including during high-stress situations.
- Be able to work concurrently with all Resort staff and encourage a productive work environment.
- Must have a valid Driver's License
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Experience in lift maintenance is preferred but not required.
