What are the responsibilities and job description for the Receptionist/Medical Secretary position at The Highlands Living Center?
The Highlands Living Center has immediate opening for a per diem Receptionist/Medical Secretary. The primary purpose of your job is to act as a receptionist and telephone operator, assist in security of residents and facility by screening and announcing visitors, assist with daily COVID screenings and performs clerical duties to support the management team.
This individual may be requested to work on a unit as a medical secretary instead of our front desk, in order to to support the clerical & staffing needs of assigned nursing unit, to include; organization of resident medical records, and unit forms/ records. Under direction of Nurse Manager, assist with employee schedules, tracking of meal breaks, and time punches.
Qualifications: HS Diploma or GED; general knowledge of computers and telephone systems; professional and courteous demeanor with excellent telephone skills a must.
Pay Range: $16.50-23.50/hr
