Summary:
The Marketing and Communications Coordinator is responsible for supporting and executing marketing communications tactics—including graphic design, social media posts, internal and external digital marketing/emails, multi-channel content creation and helping to develop strategies to effectively communicate messages to both external and internal target audiences while maintaining branding guidelines and standards.
The Marketing and Communications Coordinator works closely with various departments throughout the organization towards common goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate all social media efforts, including but not limited to Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, etc.
- Assist in the development of internal and external marketing communications, content, and schedules
- Update website content to include current initiatives, completed projects and other pertinent information on a regularly scheduled basis according to content plan, calendar and divisional priorities
- Update brochures and other collateral marketing materials as needed, both content and design
- Create and electronically distribute internal communications, newsletters, announcements, etc. both scheduled and as needed.
- Assist with the creation and design of internal and external presentations using various software tools
- Design Hill branded promotional materials, giveaways and clothing for internal and external use; assist in distribution of materials
- Assist in the coordination and promotion of all company sponsored corporate events
- Support Hill branding guidelines on all internal and external communications
- Suggest new approaches and ideas to effect continual improvements in Hill branding
- Perform other duties as assigned
Experience and Qualifications:
- Degree in Business and/or Marketing, Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Graphic Design skills needed; experience in Canva, working knowledge of Adobe CC (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, etc.) preferred
- One to three years of related experience
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Publisher)
- Experience with E-Mail Marketing (Constant Contact or similar preferred)
- Digital Photography and Video Editing skills (Premiere Pro)
- Familiarity with all social media platforms
