Job Description
The Benefits intern is responsible for assisting the benefits specialist with daily administration of health and welfare programs. Interacts with employees to help resolve issues and provide information related to benefit plans and transactions.

Essential Job Functions *
Supports benefit plan administrator with documentation, communication and filings as assigned.
Provides support for basic analytics and plan interpretation as assigned.
Supports day to day vendor and employee relationships.
Supports new hire benefits orientation, maintains and updates benefits material as assigned.
Participates in strategy and process discussions as assigned
Education & Experience
Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in related field.
Competencies – Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Basic analytical skills.
Basic communication skills.
Experience with Microsoft office suite.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
Work Environment
Office: Office setting. Seldom exposed to fumes or airborne particles. Loud working environment of the shop area. Functional vision and hearing required.
