Production Worker III

PRODUCTON WORKER III   Job Summary   Primarily responsible for preparing items to be processed in a manufacturing environment using intermediately complex equipment, tools, or processes.  Requires maintaining established productivity and accuracy standards.    Essential Job Functions *   Prepares Items for Processing by being responsible for receipt inspection and preparation of parts to be processed and ensuring assigned equipment is in good working condition. Production Work.  Activities could include all items listed in Production Worker II plus: Packaging items using conveyor belts and scales; and / or extruding or stamping washers. Uses knowledge and experience to resolve basic operating problems; reports other problems to supervisor. Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies to complete tasks without waste. Ensures Quality by conducting multiple spot checks during the workday to ensure products meet established standards; and maintains a log of items identified as out of tolerance with established standards. Ensures Safety by maintaining a clean and organized work environment, follows safety policies and procedures, and reports unsafe conditions to Supervisor.   * This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee. Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness Related experience in a manufacturing setting preferred   Operational Equipment   N/A Work Environment and Physical Demands Work Environment Packaging - Key: Fast-paced up to 8 hrs/day. Exposure to loud noise. Function vision and hearing required. May participate in HCP. Physical Demands Packaging - Hand: Light, lifting up to 50 lbs.
