- Ensures a safe, comfortable, sanitary environment for residents, staff and visitors in accordance with Federal, State and Corporate requirements.
- Performs preventative maintenance procedures.
- Requires full range of body motion.
- Maintains equipment necessary to meet Center needs.
- Understands department budget.
- Maintains written records and documents of services performed according to Federal, Sate and Corporate requirements.
- May train personnel to meet Center needs.
- Participates in assigned meetings and in-services. SUPERVISORY
- May assume role of Director in his absence.
- One year experience in a long term care center preferred.
- Ability to read and write English for business necessity.
- Ability to perform basic electrical, plumbing and carpentry repairs.
- One year experience in basic trades preferred.
- Working knowledge of plant support systems (cooling/heating, emergency systems) preferred.
- Presents professional image to consumers through dress, behavior and speech.
- Adheres to company standards for resolving consumer concerns.
- Ensures that all consumer/resident rights are protected.
