Civil Engineering Field Technician
Location: Denver, CO (Field work within 40 miles of city center)
Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire
Schedule: Monday Friday, plus on-call every other Saturday
Hours: 7 AM 35 PM, averaging around 50 hours/week
Pay Range: $17.00 $36.00/hour (based on experience, certifications, and education level)

As a Civil Engineering Field Technician, you will perform critical field testing, collect accurate data, and support engineering investigations that impact commercial, residential, and infrastructure projects across the Denver metro area. Training is an essential component of this position, and individuals with varying levels of experience are encouraged to apply. What You Bring
- Technician I: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Technician II: High school diploma or equivalent (23 years of relevant experience OR minimum of 2 applicable certifications OR B.S. in Geology.)
- Technician III: High school diploma or equivalent (4 years of relevant experience OR minimum of 3 applicable certifications OR B.S. in Civil, Geotechnical, or related Engineering field.)
- All Levels: Valid drivers license and clean driving record; must pass a drug test and background check.
What Youll Do
- Perform field testing of soil, concrete, asphalt, and other materials for construction projects.
- Collect and document data for analysis and reporting.
- Assist with geotechnical investigations, including drilling, soil sampling, and logging.
- Conduct field observations to verify compliance with project specifications and standards.
- Operate and maintain field equipment safely and efficiently.
- Communicate clearly with project managers, clients, and contractors.
- Prepare accurate and timely field and lab reports.
