Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented paralegal to join our legal team. This role involves supporting attorneys with research, drafting legal documents, managing case files, and assisting with various administrative and legal tasks. The successful candidate will work effectively both independently and collaboratively, contributing to the success of the legal team in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys in preparing and drafting legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, discovery, and other correspondence.
- Conduct legal research and summarize findings to assist with case preparation and strategy.
- Manage and organize case files, including maintaining up-to-date records, exhibits, and documents.
- Coordinate communication with clients, witnesses, and expert consultants as directed by attorneys.
- File legal documents with courts and regulatory agencies, ensuring compliance with relevant deadlines and procedures.
- Prepare and maintain legal correspondence, including letters and memos to clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
- Assist with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, preparing witness lists, and helping with deposition and hearing preparations.
- Review and summarize legal documents to identify key issues and pertinent facts.
- Assist with discovery processes, including drafting requests, responses, and organizing evidence.
- Support attorneys in preparing for meetings, depositions, hearings, and trials.
- Perform other legal and administrative duties as assigned.
