Position Purpose:
The Regional Quality Manager (RQM) evaluates MET operational processes and quickly identifies issues as well as Influence operational performance through in-aisle gap analysis. RQMs develop MEAs, Supervisors, MEMs and DEMs by teaching, coaching and training on operational processes. RQMs must have the ability to clearly communicate across all levels of the organization. Each visit to outlier stores will occur over a multi day period in which the RQM will facilitate detailed training designed to increase store performance. The Regional Quality Manager typically covers 1-2 regions and may be required to visit other stores to engage with associates and identify best practices.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities:
60%- Influence operational performance through in-aisle gap analysis
Remain current and well versed on MET SOPs and strategic initiatives
Evaluate MET operational processes and quickly identify and address issues
Develop MEAs, Supervisors, MEMs and DEMs by teaching, coaching and training on operational processes
20%- Planning and organization of weekly / monthly RQM routines
Follow up of store walks and game plan progress
20%- Develop MEAs, Supervisors, MEMs and DEMs by teaching, coaching and training on operational processes
Nature and Scope:
This position reports to the Director or Sr. Manager of MET Operations.
This positions has no direct reports.
Environmental Job Requirements:
Typically in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors such as temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noise, and fumes which cause noticeable discomfort or a moderate risk of accident or illness.
Travel:
Typically requires overnight travel more than 50% of the time.
