We're looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join the team. Our perfect candidate will thrive in a fun and casual environment, pay it forward daily, and add value to the company by authenticating, verifying approvals, and processing vendor invoices, while maintaining a timely monthly close. You will perform various accounting functions including managing internal and external customer data requests, maintaining files, and vendor contact.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Ensure authenticity of invoices, external and internal coding is compliant with budgeting and approval authority is accurate.
- Reconcile any prior balances on vendor invoices.
- Processes invoices relating to inventory, repairs, utilities, sales taxes, corporate request, and customer refunds.
- Provide support to internal and external customers regarding payment activity, invoice status, and general ledger coding.
- Identify invoices where sales tax should be accrued and prepares data for the accrual to be made on a monthly basis.
