Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and professional Waxing Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a busy, high-end salon where your expertise will directly contribute to our mission of creating a positive guest experience. As a Waxing Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional waxing services while maintaining a goal-oriented, client-focused approach to customer service. The ideal candidate will have a positive outlook, strong attention to detail, and a passion for providing premium experience to every client.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform various detailed waxing services, including full body waxing, eyebrow shaping, and facial waxing with a focus on precision, professionalism, and client comfort.
• Conduct thorough skin consultations, including discussing health history, contraindications, aftercare instructions, and ensuring clients' well-being.
• Provide exceptional customer service by creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere that encourages clients to return.
• Educate clients on proper aftercare techniques to maximize the longevity of their waxing results and maintain client satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized work environment by following all salon sanitation protocols.
• Stay up to date with the latest waxing and skincare trends and techniques to enhance your service offering and maintain a high level of expertise in your work.
• Meet and exceed company sales and service goals, including upselling retail products that complement clients' skincare routines.
• Complete all housekeeping tasks, including restocking supplies, checking in and rebooking clients, and maintaining an orderly salon environment.
• Collaborate with a positive, goal-oriented team to maintain a supportive and professional work culture.
• Demonstrate a positive and professional outlook that aligns with our mission and company values.

Qualifications:

• Must hold a valid Board of Cosmetology License in Aesthetics or Cosmetology with the state of Tennessee.
• In-depth knowledge of waxing techniques and products, with the ability to perform a variety of waxing services.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
• Experience with salon software for scheduling, client management, and retail sales is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be goal-oriented, a team player, and possess a positive attitude toward both clients and colleagues.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team while striving for individual excellence.
• A passion for delivering high-quality services and creating positive client experiences.
