Summary
The Teacher will provide age and developmentally appropriate educational instruction in manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of The Horsham Clinic. The Teacher is responsible to assess, develop and implement an education plan based on the patient's learning needs. The teacher will also be a liaison with the patient's home district and is a an integral member of the treatment team in developing the continuing care plan with regards to educational services post discharge.

Qualifications:
- 2-3 years experience working in Psychiatric Mental Health setting
- Bachelors Degree in Education required. Masters Degree preferred
- PA Elementary or Secondary Education Certification.
- Experience and knowledge in child/adolescent development; emotional/behavioral disorders in young people, classroom management; PA core curriculum standards.
- Demonstrates working knowledge of behavioral mental health, classroom management, and positive reinforcement
- Ability to plan, direct, and monitor others activities with demonstrated leadership abilities that contribute to a positive work environment.
