We are opening up our CNA class and are looking for students to complete this class.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The students will be required to complete and pass a 4-week long Nurse Aide class. Upon completion of the class, students will begin working as a Nurse Aide at Miller Nursing Home & Calhoun Nursing Home while waiting to take their state certification exam.
Nurse Aides provide direct and indirect resident care activities under the supervision of a LPN or RN. They assist with activities of daily living, provide for personal care, comfort and assists in the maintenance of a safe and clean environment for residents.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- A certification is required within 90 days of completion of state nurse aide training program.
- Current BLS certification within three (3) months of hire date.
