Full Time Housekeeper

The Room Attendant cleans and restocks guestrooms and related areas safely and efficiently while complying with hotel policies, procedures, and standards of cleanliness.

1.
Clean bathtub, toilet, sink, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floor surfaces using cloths, mops, sponges, brushes, and/or cleaning agents by extending arms over head, bending and stooping.
2.
Adhere to cleaning procedures and instructions for use of cleaning agents.
3.
Strip and make beds, changing bed linens, which may require lifting bedspreads weighing a maximum of 40 lbs.
4.
Dust all furniture, pictures, drawers, window ledges, and shelves thoroughly.
5.
Push and pull vacuum and/or swifter throughout entire room and empty trash.
6.
Replenish amenities, linens, and supplies in guestroom.
7.
Sign for room keys, stock housekeeping cart, push to assigned rooms; visually inspect room for cleanliness and appearance and sign off completion of room; perform a quality check on the television, telephone, heating/air conditioning, lighting, and promptly report any damage, engineering problems and safety hazards to management.
8.
Participates in accident/loss prevention programs; adhere to health, sanitation, OSHA and standard operating procedures to achieve a high level of cleanliness and guest satisfaction; promptly turn–in, all items left in guestrooms after checkout and enter into lost and found log.
9.
Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis in uniform with nametag; be well versed and informed regarding hotel facilities and services to assist guests as appropriate.
10.
Respond to guest requests, concerns, and problems to ensure guest satisfaction and impress guests with quality and timely service in a friendly and efficient manner.
11.
Properly store carts and unused supplies at the end of the shift.
