You will collaborate closely with our executive team to create innovative strategies, build a portfolio of group clients, and ensure the seamless execution of travel services for conferences, corporate groups, and special events.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Development: Create and implement a comprehensive strategy to grow the group travel division, identifying key opportunities in the meetings, incentives, conferences, and events (MICE) sector.
- Client Relationships: Leverage existing client relationships and cultivate new partnerships to drive business growth and expand our network of corporate, association, and group travel clients.
- Sales Leadership: Lead all group sales activities, including prospecting, lead generation, negotiations, and contract closures, to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Market Research: Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitive positioning, and emerging opportunities in group travel and events.
- Event Coordination: Work closely with clients to understand their requirements and ensure the successful execution of group travel bookings, conferences, and events.
- Team Building: Assist in recruiting and mentoring a high-performing team to support the growth of the group travel division.
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in group sales within the hospitality, travel, or events industry.
- Proven track record of success in booking groups, events, and conferences, with an established client network.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build strong client relationships.
- Strong negotiation, sales, and presentation skills.
- Presentation Skills: Demonstrate exceptional ability to create and deliver compelling sales presentations tailored to clients' specific needs. This includes designing visually appealing and impactful materials, utilizing data and storytelling to communicate value propositions effectively, and confidently presenting to diverse audiences, from corporate executives to event planners.
- Knowledge of group travel trends, logistics, and industry best practices.
