About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy HR Analyst to join our remote team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in HR technology, data analysis, and process optimization who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The HR Analyst will manage HR systems, analyze workforce trends, optimize processes, and ensure compliance with HR policies and regulations.
Responsibilities
HR Systems Administration
- Manage and optimize HR technology platforms (Gusto, ADP, Rippling, BambooHR, Paylocity, Paycor, Paychex, Monday.com) to streamline HR operations.
- Maintain HRIS data integrity, troubleshoot system issues, and implement enhancements.
- Act as the primary contact for HR technology troubleshooting and user training.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Generate, analyze, and present HR metrics, workforce trends, and compliance reports using Office 365 and Google Workspace.
- Provide insights on compensation analysis, workforce planning, and compliance tracking.
- Ensure accurate reporting and audit readiness for payroll, benefits, and employee records.
Process Optimization & Automation
- Identify and implement HR process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Leverage automation and system integrations to streamline HR workflows.
- Collaborate with IT and operations teams to enhance digital HR solutions.
Employee Lifecycle Support
- Support onboarding, offboarding, payroll operations, and benefits administration using HR software.
- Ensure smooth employee transitions and compliance with employment policies and labor laws.
- Manage employee data tracking, ensuring records are accurate and up to date.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Serve as the HR technology expert, working closely with HR, IT, and operations teams to optimize HR workflows.
- Provide support for internal training initiatives, assisting with user adoption of HR systems.
- Communicate and enforce HR policies and best practices across teams.
Document Management & Compliance
- Maintain and manage HR-related documents securely in Dropbox and other cloud-based systems.
- Ensure compliance with HR data privacy policies, employment regulations, and industry best practices.
- Assist in preparing HR compliance audits and reports as needed.
Project Management & Adaptability
- Manage multiple HR projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and execution are met.
- Adapt quickly to changing business needs, supporting additional HR functions as required.
- Stay up to date with emerging HR technology trends and best practices.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
- Experience: Minimum 1 years of experience in HR technology, HRIS administration, or HR data analysis. Prior experience managing HR platforms such as Gusto, ADP, Paychex, and Monday.com preferred. Experience in HR analytics, compliance reporting, and process automation is a plus.
- Certifications: HR technology certifications such as HRIS Analyst are a plus.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Proficiency in HR technology platforms (Gusto, ADP, Rippling, BambooHR, Paylocity, Paycor, Paychex, Monday.com) and HRIS administration.
- Technological proficiency with strong technical aptitude and the ability to quickly learn new HR systems and digital tools.
- Strong data analysis, reporting, and workforce analytics skills using Office 365 and Google Workspace.
- Experience in automating HR processes and ensuring compliance with employment regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements.
- Effective time management and organizational skills in a remote, fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work while sitting for prolonged periods.
- Must be able to lift objects up to 15 pounds at a time.
- Flexibility to adjust working hours based on project or company needs.
- Must be willing and able to travel quarterly for in-person team meetings or company events as required.
