Senior BA/PM

Senior Business Systems Analyst / Project Manager (Asset Management RFP Project) Location: Hybrid (Austin, TX occasional on-site; candidates must be local to central Texas)
Engagement: 10 12 Months (Extension Possible)

We are seeking a seasoned Business Systems Analyst or Project Manager to lead a critical initiative in the procurement of a new Enterprise Asset Management (EAM)/CMMS system for a large and complex public utility organization. This role will be instrumental in shaping the formal RFP process from translating business needs into clear requirements to guiding stakeholders through vendor evaluation and selection.

What You ll Do

• Analyze findings from a completed RFI to define and document key business needs
• Lead stakeholder engagement sessions to gather detailed requirements
• Develop and manage a formal RFP, including scope, evaluation criteria, and documentation
• Facilitate vendor evaluations and proposal presentations
• Serve as the bridge between business stakeholders, leadership, and technical teams

Ideal Background

• Experience leading RFP development and evaluation for large-scale technology solutions
• Strong background in Enterprise Asset Management or CMMS systems is highly desirable
• Experience in utilities or similar industry highly desirable
• Ability to work closely with executive leadership, procurement, and cross-functional teams
• Proficiency in business analysis techniques: requirements documentation, workflows, and process mapping
• Skilled in facilitating diverse stakeholder meetings and translating inputs into actionable deliverables
• Comfortable presenting technical and business concepts to varied audiences

Engagement Details

• Length: 10 12 months with potential for extension
• Location: Hybrid (primarily remote with periodic in-person meetings in Austin, TX)
• Training: Up to two months of onboarding to become familiar with organizational needs and RFI findings
