Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medication Nursing Assistant (MNA) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support in a nursing home or memory care setting, ensuring the highest level of care for our residents. The MNA will be responsible for assisting with daily living activities, administering medications, and maintaining accurate medical documentation. This role requires a strong understanding of physiology and anatomy, as well as proficiency in using electronic health record systems such as Cerner and Epic.

Duties

• Administer medications to residents according to prescribed schedules and protocols.
• Perform tube feeding and catheter care as needed, ensuring comfort and safety for residents.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with facility policies and regulations.
• Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, mobility, and meal assistance.
• Monitor residents' health status and report any changes to nursing staff promptly.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Ensure a clean and safe environment for all residents by adhering to infection control protocols.
• Engage residents in meaningful activities that promote their physical and emotional well-being.

Experience

• Previous experience in a nursing home or memory care facility is preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems such as Cerner or Epic is a plus.
• Knowledge of physiology and anatomy is essential for effective patient care.
• Experience with medication administration, tube feeding, and catheter care is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team are required.

Pay: $20.67 - $26.00 per hour
