Company Description
The IFH Group, Inc. is the largest manufacturer of custom steel fuel and hydraulic oil tanks for off-road vehicles in the USA. The company's manufacturing facility in Rock Falls, IL is equipped with advanced machinery like fiber optics lasers and robotic welding cells to produce tanks and reservoirs ranging from 1 to over 300 gallons.
Primary Purpose
The Human Resources Manager will be the primary contact on all HR-related matters for the company in Rock
Falls. The HR Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Human Resource office, and will
serve as an advisor, consultant, and strategic business partner working very closely with the assigned areas
providing comprehensive, consultative support on both the strategic and operational needs of all departments
on all employment-related matters.
General Description
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES (Include but not limited to);
- Design and conduct training and development programs to improve individual and organizational
performance
- Analyze training needs and serve as main contact for employee relations throughout the organization
- Providing support in the functional areas of employee relations
- Development and updating of policies and procedures
- Development and updating of job descriptions as needed
- Coordinate with CFO on compensation, benefits, payroll and other vendors
- Administration of leave policies
- Provide support for COVID-19 and other medical initiatives
- Prepare and maintain employment records (i.e. hiring, termination, leaves, transfers, promotions) utilizing
HRM system software or appropriate written documentation
- Interpret and explain human resources policies, procedures, laws, standards, or regulations.
- Maintain current knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and affirmative action guidelines and
laws, such as the Americans with Disabilities act (ADA), and perform required reporting to meet compliance with government regulations
- Benefits administration, implementation and support
- Assist in creating, implementation and administering handbook policies and procedures
- Onboarding, orientation and employee retention, such as employee satisfaction surveys
- Address employee relations’ issues such as harassment allegations, work complaints, performance
management and/or improvement plans and other employee concerns with utmost confidentiality
- Marketing company as a “Destination Employer”
- Support all Human Resources and Safety Initiatives
- Administration of worker’s compensation and investigation of workplace incidents
- Administration of Return-to-Work policy and program; liaison for employer, employee and carrier
- Administration and support for unemployment
- Maintain and update Human Resources documents, such as organization charts, employee handbooks or
directories, and/or performance evaluation forms in accordance with state and federal regulations
- Involved in all recruiting efforts, working with internal Recruiter to fill direct labor and other positions as
specified and external recruiting partners for executive and other managerial positions.
- Collaboration with human resource personnel at any and all IFH locations to coordinate the best employee
environment possible for all locations.
- Other duties as assigned
TRAINING
This position is trained on Harassment Prevention, General OSHA Standards.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources and five years human resource manager experience (preferred)
- Minimum Associates Degree plus five years human resources field experience, OR
- Any appropriate combination of education and experience
Salary : $65,000 - $85,000
