In this role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to children from birth through adolescence. This includes conducting routine check-ups, diagnosing and treating illnesses and injuries, and prescribing medications as needed. You will also have the opportunity to develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this position, you must possess a strong foundation in pediatrics, including knowledge of child development, growth and behavior, and common childhood illnesses. You should also be skilled in communication, empathy, and problem-solving. A Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine degree and licensure to practice medicine in Hawaii are required. Additionally, you should have at least two years of experience as a practicing physician.

Education: Graduation from an accredited school of medicine/osteopathy with a degree of Doctor of Medicine/Osteopathy. Current registration with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and a current State Controlled Substance license from the State of Hawai'i Department of Public Safety's (DPS) Narcotics Enforcement Division (NED). Experience: Two (2) years of professional experience as a practicing physician.
