The Manager, ATDM Recruitment & Admissions is responsible for leading the development, execution, and continuous improvement of recruitment and admissions strategies to attract and enroll qualified applicants into IALR's specialized training programs. This role oversees the full admissions cycle, supervises recruitment staff, and works in close collaboration with the Assistant Director of Recruitment & Admissions to ensure alignment with organizational goals. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, data-driven decision-making, and a proactive approach to outreach and operational excellence.

The Ideal Candidate
IALR will offer a salary of $80,000 - $90,000 plus applicable shift differential. Duties & Responsibilities
- Strategic Recruitment & Outreach
- Lead and execute recruitment strategies to attract diverse and qualified applicant pools.
- Represent the program at career fairs, high schools, military installations, community events, and industry forums.
- Develop and manage prospective student engagement plans through targeted email campaigns, virtual info sessions, phone outreach, and in-person visits.
- Oversee coordination of recruitment travel, event logistics, and team participation to ensure alignment with program goals and calendar.
- Cultivate relationships with external partners, including schools, community organizations, and workforce agencies.
- Admissions Management & Operations
- Oversee the admissions process, ensuring timely and accurate review of applications and related documentation.
- Supervise and mentor admissions/recruitment staff, providing guidance and performance feedback.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for applicant communications, data entry, and follow-up.
- Monitor and manage application systems and databases, ensuring data integrity and reporting accuracy.
- Manage and oversee background checks, drug screening processes, and enrollment verifications in compliance with program policies.
- Partner with leadership to assess and refine admissions criteria, timelines, and applicant review processes.
- Data & Performance Analysis
- Analyze applicant trends and recruitment outcomes to guide continuous improvement.
- Develop and share regular reports on recruitment and admissions metrics.
- Identify and recommend strategies to improve applicant conversion rates and yield.

The Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Higher Education, Communications, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 4–6 years of experience in admissions, recruitment, or a related field, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or team lead capacity.
- Proven ability to manage projects, people, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage with individuals from a variety of backgrounds.
- Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and data management platforms.
- Ability to travel for recruitment and outreach events; occasional evening or weekend work may be required.
- Experience in technical, vocational, or trade-based student recruitment.
- Familiarity with Department of Defense training programs, veterans’ services, or workforce development initiatives.
- Demonstrated experience using data to evaluate and optimize recruitment strategies.
