SUMMARY
Job Description:
As a digital graphic designer, you will play a crucial role in shaping our brand's visual identity across various digital platforms. You will work closely with the marketing, product, digital, design, video, and web teams to create compelling digital visual content that enhances user engagement and supports our business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Development:
- Design and produce interactive online content, including landing pages, email templates, social media, promotional artwork, advertising, and informative ebooks.
- Support the transformation of wireframes into intuitive user interfaces.
- Develop and maintain brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all digital platforms.
- Utilize Canva to create quick and effective design solutions, particularly for social media and marketing campaigns for personalization through global institutes.
- Incorporate AI tools into the design process to streamline workflows and enhance creativity.
- Design professional PowerPoint presentations and templates that align with the brand’s visual identity and effectively communicate key messages.
- Ensure a cohesive and compelling brand presence across all digital channels.
- Collaborate with the digital teams to ensure that all designs align with the brand image, while also meeting usability and website standards.
- Work with the web and digital teams to oversee the smooth implementation of new content.
- Conceptualization and Strategy:
- Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to conceptualize and execute digital design strategies that align with business objectives.
- Conduct market research and stay updated with the latest digital design trends to inform design decisions.
- Manage multiple design projects from concept to completion, ensuring all deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines.
- Work closely with other designers, the web/digital teams, and the senior creative manager to ensure seamless execution of design projects.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including the senior creative manager, video team, PR team, developers, and content creators, to ensure cohesive and integrated design solutions.
- Present design concepts and solutions to stakeholders, incorporating feedback as needed.
- Demonstrate proficiency in proactive communication, ensuring clear and timely updates to all relevant parties.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Utilize various design tools and software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Canva, and other relevant platforms.
- Optimize designs for various digital formats and platforms, ensuring responsiveness and accessibility.
- Implement agile methodologies in the design process to enhance collaboration and efficiency.
Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in digital design, graphic design, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in digital graphic design, with a strong portfolio showcasing online and digital design projects.
- Proven expertise in creating visually compelling designs for websites, social media, digital advertising, and other online platforms.
- Excellent understanding of UX/UI principles and best practices.
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS basics and experience with responsive design principles .
- Familiarity with UX/UI design principles.
- Knowledge of SEO and web development concepts.
- Strong experience with branding projects and maintaining brand consistency.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using Canva for quick and practical design solutions.
- Experience utilizing AI tools in the design process.
- Proficiency in designing professional PowerPoint presentations.
- Experience in designing print and event materials.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design concepts and solutions.
- Creative, innovative, and detail-oriented, with a keen eye for aesthetics and a passion for design.
- Proficiency in proactive communication and agile methods.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with animation and motion graphics. Familiarity with branding and marketing strategies.

Education and/or Experience
A bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university, five or more years related experience and/or training in graphic design, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization. Multiple language skills are an asset to any role within The IIA.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply basic algebra and geometry concepts.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills
Intermediate or higher ability to work in a computerized environment with a working knowledge of most Microsoft Office products. Experience with the Macintosh OS X operating system and high-level knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe InDesign. Web design experience and knowledge of HTML and CSS are preferred.
