Summary
The Sr. Manager, Learning Operations Innovation role is responsible for the streamlining of processes by identifying opportunities to reduce manual work, integrate innovative learning technology solutions and enhancing the overall customer experience. This role works to streamline processes through reduction of manual work and optimizing use of resources to provide increasing capacity to support a growing business of learning products. The role works cross-functionally, requiring strong teamwork and understanding of overall processes and strategy.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement solutions to streamline and eliminate manual processes, enhancing both efficiency and productivity.
- Drive seamless integration with third-party partners to expand our market reach and improve sales channels.
- Identify new solutions that support current team strategy and goals and identify how it integrates with current business processes.
- Use RPA, SmartSheet automation or other similar tools to automate routine processes.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop, implement and maintain streamlined processes across the learning, sales and partnership teams.
- Create project plans in SmartSheet, including defining timelines and deliverables for each project.
- Develop executive summaries and/or dashboards to drive communication about the status of projects.
- Support the creation of business cases for all technology driven needs for improved internal processes and for enhanced technology within learning products delivered to the customer.
- Drive prioritization of process and technology changes, handling a portfolio of team-specific projects independently, while partnering with the PMO as appropriate.
- Monitor and evaluate process and technology projects after implementation, focusing on opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Supervision of 1-3 people (subject to change based on business needs).
Qualifications

- Automation and integration experience related to processes and/or learning products.
- LMS experience, including administration and development experience.
- Project management skills.
- Exceptional verbal and written communications skills.
- Strong collaboration skills.
- Demonstrated experience prioritizing and balancing multiple, ongoing high-profile projects with ability to meet critical deadlines.
- Ability to apply global perspectives to projects.
- Organized, able to act independently, and have an eye for detail with the ability to put ideas into tangible form.
Education and/or Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in education, business, information technology, or similar course of study.
- 7 or more years of experience in automation, integration, or learning technologies.
- 3 or more years of people leadership.
Technical Skills
- LMS administration and development / customization.
- Mastery of MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Cvent or similar event management platforms experience required.
- Mobile app administration and optimization experience required.
- Slido or other interactive polling solutions experience required.
- SmartSheet experience preferred.
- API knowledge and experience preferred.
- Coding and application experience preferred.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Project management certificates are a plus.
Language Skills
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from members, customers, volunteers, and individuals in the broader business community. Ability to consolidate data from a wide variety of sources, interpret its meaning, and present such information in a meaningful way to top management and/or volunteers.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills
Expert ability to work in a computerized environment with knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Web-related computer skills listed above.
