Job Overview
We are seeking a licensed P&C Insurance CSR (Customer Service Representative) to join our agency. In this role, you will be responsible for processing incoming client communications including lead intake/assignment, communicating with carriers, processing personal and commercial endorsements. The ideal candidate will possess adequate computer skills, communication skills, a customer-centric mindset, and the ability to create and manage service tasks through completion. Support sales staff by taking all service tasks off of their plate to allow for timely handling of leads, quote requests, and producer related tasks.
Duties
- Field incoming calls and create tasks and leads according to nature of calls.
- Capture lead information and assign lead to appropriate producer.
- Create, manage, and process service tasks through completion.
- Deliver outstanding customer support by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate data entry of client information and interactions in our systems.
- Utilize effective phone etiquette to ensure a professional and positive experience for clients.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance client services and improve overall satisfaction.
- Use multiple pieces of software daily to perform work tasks.
- Reach out to carriers as needed to process tasks.
- Contact customers as needed to process tasks.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a P&C insurance agency is preferred.
- A P&C license is strongly preferred. Will consider the right person without a license.
- Office customer service experience is a strong plus.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate information clearly in English.
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer support skills.
- Proficient in data entry with attention to detail.
- Proficient in computer and software troubleshooting.
- Ability to analyze information and make informed recommendations based on client needs.
- A proactive approach to processing service tasks and solving challenges.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
