Growing busy office in St. Clair Shores is looking for a Payroll Specialist.
Strong excel and Microsoft Office experience required.
Responsibilities
- Process payroll for employees accurately and on time. Respond to employee and manager inquiries and needs.
- Maintain full cycle payroll operations by following policies and procedures.
- Prepare reports as needed.
- Gather, enter and maintain all information for payroll; identify and research any inconsistencies in data for explanation or correction.
- Strong knowledge of corporate accounting principles,
- Proficiency with payroll software
- Other administrative duties as needed.
Requirements
- Progressive clerical experience with demonstrated ability to maintain a high volume of records with a high level of accuracy.
- Minimum 2 years of Human Resources, Payroll, Benefit office or closely related experience.
- Experience working with complex financial and HR systems
