Supervisor

Intelli-Pole is currently looking for a Supervisor to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the production, distribution, and maintenance activities of a shift, ensuring production goals are being met, and maintaining all appropriate production reports for management. The Supervisor will be responsible for monitoring workflow of the shift, maintaining quality of products, and supervising the efficient operations of all plant equipment to achieve plant objectives. The successful candidate must have extensive mechanical, electrical, and electronic knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Setting goals for performance and deadlines in ways that comply with company plans and vision while effectively communicating those goals and deadlines to all subordinates.
• Organizing workflow and ensuring employees understand their duties or delegated tasks.
• Monitoring shift productivity and providing constructive feedback and coaching to team members.
• Receiving complaints and resolving problems.
• Installation, repair, and maintenance of all machinery and equipment.
• Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning components of machinery or equipment.
• Establish and follow a regular maintenance plan for all machinery and equipment within the facility.
• Ensure all machinery undergoes required testing to meet compliance guidelines to maintain facility certifications.
• Disassemble machinery or equipment to remove parts and make repairs.
• Observe and test the operation of machinery or equipment to diagnose malfunctions, using industry testing devices and practices.
• Reassemble equipment after completion of inspections, testing or repairs.
• Schedule and coordinate installation support and service operations for machinery and equipment to meet internal standards.
• Ensure compliance with customer specifications and company requirements.
• Examine parts for defects, such as breakage or excessive wear.
• Operate newly repaired machinery or equipment to verify the adequacy of repairs.
• Analyze test results, machine error messages, or information obtained from operators to diagnose equipment problems.
• Study manufacturers’ manuals or other documents to determine correct installation and/or operation of machinery and equipment.
• Enter codes and instructions to program computer-controlled machinery.
• Demonstrate equipment functions and features to machine operators.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment.
• Ensuring adherence to legal and company polices and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 3 years' experience in supervisory role in a manufacturing environment.
• 1 years' experience as a Technician in a manufacturing environment.
• Extensive knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic disciplines.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.00 - $34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 48 per week

Experience:

• Manufacturing: 1 year (Preferred)
• Electrical experience: 1 year (Preferred)
• Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Preferred)
• Supervising: 3 years (Required)
