PAY RATE: $23-25 PER HOUR
The Intersect Group is hiring for a Billing Coordinator with at least 3-5 years experience in Accounts Receivable, Billing Adjustments or Invoicing experience. We are seeking a Billing Coordinator to join our high-impact team as we prepare for a significant influx of new customers in June. This role is crucial in ensuring billing accuracy across the company. As a Billing Coordinator, you will be responsible for billing adjustments, ensuring invoices are accurate, and resolving discrepancies. This is a highly visible role within the organization, as our department touches every part of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and manage billing adjustments for invoicing errors, such as incorrect pricing or addresses.
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve recurring billing issues.
- Perform detailed research and analysis on invoice discrepancies.
- Work within internal billing systems, ensuring adjustments are correctly processed.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure billing accuracy but will not be responsible for direct customer interactions.
- Maintain documentation of adjustments and provide reporting as needed.
- No direct customer service—your focus will be on analytical problem-solving and billing corrections.
Preferred Experience & Skills:
- 3–5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) with exposure to billing adjustments and invoicing.
- Strong analytical, research, and critical thinking skills to identify issues and resolve discrepancies.
- Experience in high-volume billing environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with billing software.
- Nice to have: Experience with D365, Workday.
- Bonus: Experience in the Environmental Services industry.
